Meno Album Reviews
“A very beautiful and moving record. I was transported.”
“Liz Draper’s Meno is a wondrously warm and meditative soundscape. It’s soothing and playful, the way a grandfather’s voice might be teasingly in the other room…or the way a sunset dances on the differing textures of wind on water. I want to drink it and keep refilling my glass. I love this ep, it’s gorgeous”
“One of the most heart-wrenchingly enchanted albums I have ever heard. You can hear every hair of the bow across the strings, you hear the air in the room, you hear the stoy… Meno gives me chills from start to finish.”
“Good tones. Great Grooves. It’s a refreshing new vibe in my music rotation.”
“Gorgeous. On my system it sounds 3D. The piano at the end of Slough is heartbreaking. Perfect.”
“Meno captures the endlessly complex grain of bow against strings, as though her bass is singing rather than being played.”
“Meno is a beautiful project throughout. The bass tones are so thick, and the arrangements are both lush and austere. It sounds vulnerable and tough, melodic and moody.”
“I love how natural it all sounds. I love the spontaneity and where the melodies take me. I love it.”
